The unfairly treated John Carlsen, before he ended up under the bus with everyone else, had specifically asked Mike not to show this image as it bore no resemblance to what he was working on. It was just to give him an idea of scale for the board that would have to fit inside the Atari Jaguar Molds.
Of course, Mike ignored him and posted it anyway.
John’s next public outing was of course his infamous Retro VGS Lab video. Asked by Mike to put something out, and asked by Steve Woita to use the term “Retro VGS Lab,” John reluctantly recorded a sneak preview into the work he had done so far. Mainly fill his kitchen table with junk.
